Originally from Morocco, a land rich in artistic and folkloric traditions, he was captivated from a young age by the magic of the Halqa, the complexity of zellige patterns, the elegance of Arabic calligraphy, and the evocative depth of Aïta music. These elements naturally fueled his passion for photography and cinema.

His artistic journey is deeply rooted in the cultural richness of his homeland. To refine his talent, he chose Ouarzazate, an iconic city of cinema, where he earned a degree in Film Studies. This education served as a springboard for pursuing a Master's in Project Management and Cultural Institutions in Arles, a city renowned for its photography, notably due to the Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles. Interactions with world-renowned photographers, as well as exhibitions and workshops from this festival, played a crucial role in honing his artistic style.
